We had Chicken Karahi and Daal, and both dishes were full of flavor. The Chicken Karahi had a rich spicy gravy with tender pieces of chicken, perfect with naan. The Channa was well-cooked with a balanced mix of spices that gave it a nice homestyle taste. Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic desi food! If you’re in the mood for classic desi dishes, i highly recommend trying their Chicken Karahi and Channa. Flavorful, satisfying and worth it!!!

Came here for some food after a night out and the food was really great. Had some work going on so the place looks a bit messy but still the food is great. Freshly cooked so not super quick but worth it. Price is fair too. Will be back soon for sure

I recently visited Saajan Restaurant on Wilmslow Road and was truly impressed! I ordered the Chapli Kabab and Pakoray, and both dishes were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They even offered some complimentary food, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even better. The owner was very nice and welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with genuine hospitality, but Saajan definitely delivers. Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic flavors and excellent service in Manchester!

Popped in on the off chance. Glad I did too. The chicken karahi was fresh! You can always tell when it’s made fresh by the texture of the meat and the whiteness when you break into the meat. I got the spiced version. Portion size was enough for two. Well worth a visit

Served by two exceptionally polite and welcoming faces. Both with a smile. The chutneys are authentic - closest I've had to green chutney from the 80's and 90's. The samosas were just right - crispy pastry, generous filling and spices just right. Chicken buhna - with a beautiful base, onion with slight hint of tomato and tender chicken pieces. Naan was fluffy and light. Pakora - fresh with vegetable pieces and potatoes. A must try for anyone coming to Wilmslow Road. The shop front is being renovated, but don't let that put you off to a historical foodies delight.

Absolutely delicious! Perfectly spiced curries, fresh naan, and friendly service. One of the best curry spots I’ve ever been to – highly recommended!

On my first visit I had the Chicken Karahi extra spicey. The portion was enough for two and I just about managed to finish it. You could tell the chicken was cooked fresh by the colour of the chicken meat as you teared into it and the texture and whiteness of the meat. The meal was very tasty and not over empowering. My second visit, I had the Lamb Karahi extra spicey. Again, it was a very fulfilling portion and the actual taste better than some of the high end establishments. Out of the two meals, my personal preference would be the Chicken Karahi.
